Jim's Goss -3/8/10
Another great week of sunshine, I'm sure you will all have noticed the change in weather temperature it seem's like as soon as the 1st of March came around the colder weather turned up Brrrrrrr yuck that means winter won't be to far away, don't forget to check your Blinky Lights / batteries and to start turning on those lights as it's is getting dark earlier.
Yay I now have Doctors clearance to start moderate training again, we just wont tell him I had already started over the weekend, 2 weeks off the Bike and Jim had a severe case of CABIN FEVER and just had to head out for Sunday Bunch, it was great to be back on the bike even if the lungs didn't think so.
Great to see Cameron Brown taking out Ironman for the 9th time, this is just an amazing feat. Jo Lawn winning the women's and Meshy Holt from Waikato/BOP smashing the women's bike ride with the fastest time. Hamiltonian Sandie Robinson doing a time of 13hrs36mins good on you Sandie I hope you enjoy sometime recovering.
Hamiltonian Issy Kennedy takes out the "Older Girls" at Karapoto MTB in Upper Hutt over the weekend, good on you Issy your a "Rock Star" Issy is the President for the Hamilton MTB Club and also participates regularly at HCCC road races.
Paris to Nice - Greg Henderson win's the sprint in today's stage, still feeling the the effect's of a stomach bug that had him pulling out of his last race. Hayden Roulston is also racing this event so hopefully we'll see more great results from the Kiwi's. Rotorua rider Clinton Avery win's UCI1.2 race in Belgium after a nasty crash last week.
